What we are trying to do in the Team Against Obesity is move you away from habits that will make you fatter and toward habits that will build your health, stop weight gain and help you lose weight over the long term, meaning, the rest of your life.  

So I am arming you with tools to reduce the suffering normally associated with losing weight.  So far we have discussed:

1 – Drinking a glass of water, especially a glass of water with lemon juice, lemon twist or lemon oil in it, to reduce or eliminate food cravings.  Also, drinking eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day so you are not eating more because you are thirsty.

2 – Chew every bite of food 30 times to slow down your eating enough to give your gut a chance to send the satiety signal to your brain so you won’t leave the table feeling hungry.  (This will also improve your health by improving your digestion.)

And now,

3 – Get 30 minutes of aerobic activity a day to moderate your blood sugar swings so you won’t struggle with mood swings while you are changing your diet.

Those are three powerful tools to help you change your habits without suffering.
